2025 in Review: A Year in Photos

From listed buildings on the coast to new homes in the countryside, 2025 has been a varied and rewarding year for our team. Each project has brought its own challenges and opportunities, but the shared goal has been the same: to deliver clarity, quality, and confidence for our clients.

We have supported refurbishment works, overseen new builds, maintained essential school facilities, and helped restore historic properties. Here are a few highlights from the year.

Residential Refurbishment

We are supporting the Shrewsbury Drapers with their almshouse programme, including the refurbishment of existing flats and the delivery of new purpose-built accommodation.

In Kent, we have been working on the external redecoration and repairs to residential flats.

New Build and School Facilities

Among other live projects, we are acting as Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent on the development of new padel courts for school use. These specialist facilities are a great example of how schools can invest in their outdoor spaces. Works will commence in January – photo coming soon!

In Lowestoft, we have worked with Catch22 and external funders to deliver essential maintenance and upgrades at a school site. Our team supported the programme from early cost advice through to contract administration and reporting.

Commercial and Public Sector Work

In Oswestry, we are overseeing essential roof repairs to a council-owned property. Our team is managing contractor procurement and valuations while coordinating with stakeholders to minimise disruption.

Listed Building Works

On the Folkestone seafront, our Building Surveyors are leading the restoration of a six-storey Grade II listed crescent. The works include render repairs, timber restoration, bay window reconstruction, and sensitive access arrangements to preserve the character of the building while keeping residents safe.

Rail Infrastructure

At Sandhills Station in Liverpool, works are now nearing completion. We have been acting as Quantity Surveyors throughout the project, supporting the client with cost control, valuations, and coordination as the scheme progresses into its final stages. It is encouraging to see the improvements taking shape and the station moving closer to full handover.

Other Highlights

We have also been busy carrying out technical inspections and condition surveys for a range of secure and sensitive sites, including ongoing work in the defence sector.

Looking Ahead

As we move into 2026, we remain focused on helping clients plan, build, and maintain projects with the same attention to detail and professionalism that define our work.
