In 2023, we celebrated 50 years since Cyril Orchard first started the business. It was a proud moment for all of us. A chance to gather as a team, look back on how far we have come, and recognise the people and projects that have shaped our journey.
Cyril founded the business in 1973 with a straightforward approach: do the job properly, look after your clients, and pay attention to the details. That mindset has stayed with us ever since. From our early days in Kent to our long-standing base in Shropshire, those values have guided everything we do.
Rob Orchard has led the company for over 30 years, helping the business grow while holding on to that same focus on quality and trust. In 2024, Charlotte Orchard became the third generation to join the team – bringing fresh perspective and continuing the family legacy with an eye on the future.
The projects we deliver today are often more complex and more collaborative, but our approach remains the same: honest advice, careful work, and long-term thinking.
