Meols Station Improvements
Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer (CDM) services
Cyril Orchard Group provided both quantity surveying services as well as CDM Principal Designer services to the improvement works at Meols Railway Station, Liverpool.
The project was part of an Access for All (AFA) station improvement scheme on behalf of Merseyrail. Works included 2 new 16 persons ambulant disabled compliant passenger lifts along with alterations and improvements to the booking office, bridge access and platform works in readiness for the new fleet of trains.
The project is on course to achieve CEEQual "Excellent" (eco) status. Our services included estimates at the initial concept design stage, preparation of contract documentation, interim valuations in the construction phase and agreeing the final account.
