The Gateway

The Gateway is a landmark 221‑flat seafront building in Dover. As Lead Consultant, Contract Administrator, and Principal Designer, we managed multiple refurbishment and upgrade projects aimed at enhancing safety, appearance, and longevity of the estate.

Our Role

Our team delivered a complete service encompassing surveys, design, tendering, contractor appointment, and CDM compliance. We coordinated works to minimise disruption to residents while ensuring all statutory and leaseholder obligations were met.

• Internal works: replacement of flat entrance doors and side panels to improve fire integrity and modernise aesthetics.
• External works: tarmac resurfacing of courtyard access roads, maintaining continuous resident access.
• Walkway works: full removal and replacement of a 50‑year‑old asphalt emergency walkway.
• End‑to‑end project management with phased delivery across multiple workstreams.
