Birkenhead North Railway Station

Cyril Orchard Group provided quantity surveying services to Merseyrail for the installation of 2 no. DDA compliant lifts together with new footbridge and accessible ramp from the car park.
The project involved several possessions of the line in order to construct the works and the footbridge which was manufactured of site lifted into place over weekend working.

Orell Park Railway Station

This project included for 2 new lifts to provide enhanced DDA requirements and refurbishment of the Booking Office and Footbridge.
Cyril Orchard Group was commissioned to carry out the quantity surveying services in connection with the proposed construction works at Orrell Park Railway Station. This included preparation of bills of quantities, tender documentation, tender evaluation & reporting, on site valuations and issuing of stage payment certificates throughout the contract.
Meols Railway Station

Cyril Orchard Group provided both quantity surveying services as well as CDM Principal Designer services to the improvement works at Meols Railway Station, Liverpool.
The project was part of an Access for All (AFA) station improvement scheme on behalf of Merseyrail. Works included 2 new 16 persons ambulant disabled compliant passenger lifts along with alterations and improvements to the booking office, bridge access and platform works in readiness for the new fleet of trains.
The project is on course to achieve CEEQual "excellent" (eco) status. Our services included estimates at the initial concept design stage, preparation of contract documentation, interim valuations in the construction phase and agreeing the final account.
